Following on swiftly from the successful #LeaseholdersTogether rally in Westminster on 16th September, we have organised the Cladiators’ Party Conference, which will take place outdoors next to Manchester Central Library in St Peter’s Square M2 5PD, from 11:30am to 1:30pm on Sunday 3rd October. This event has been arranged to coincide with the opening day of the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester.
The Cladiators’ Party Conference will be a hustings-type event with an opportunity to hear real and long-lasting solutions that will solve the national building safety crisis that continues to blight the lives of innocent leaseholders across the United Kingdom. The time has come to set party politics aside and ensure people are put first; the very people who are still being forced to pay tens of thousands, and in some cases hundreds of thousands, of pounds to fix serious building fire safety defects they played no part in creating.
Joining us on the day will be the Bishop of Manchester David Walker, Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, Shadow Housing Secretary Lucy Powell and Architect, Campaigner & TV Presenter George Clarke. They will first hear from two Greater Manchester residents, who are still trapped in limbo and are desperate for a fair and all-encompassing solution.
