Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee Report Published

The Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee has issued a cladding remediation follow-up report. We support the recommendations of the Committee.

Since 72 people lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire on 14 June 2017, the Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee has undertaken a range of work focused on building safety.

A new report, published today, revisits the Committee’s recent work on cladding remediation, following the Secretary of State’s statement on 10 February 2021 on the Government’s latest interventions to support the removal of unsafe cladding.
